An established construction contractor specialising in Civil Engineering and Groundworks is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their team based in Swindon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive H&S professional to take responsibility for maintaining and improving health, safety and environmental standards across multiple construction projects.
Responsibilities
* Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
* Develop and maintain H&S policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and industry standards.
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Deliver toolbox talks and safety training.
* Maintain H&S documentation and reports.
* Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
Requirements
* Previous H&S experience within construction.
* Civil Engineering / Groundworks experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
* NEBOSH or equivalent qualification desirable.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Negotiable salary depending on experience.
