We are recruiting a Head Receptionist for a well-regarded hotel near Basingstoke, offering a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your Front Office career. This role in Basingstoke is ideal for a confident Reception Supervisor ready to progress, or an experienced Head Receptionist looking to develop within a supportive and professional team.
Working in a quality-driven environment near Basingstoke, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the Reception Manager and leading a small, dedicated team.
Please note, the hotel is set in a rural location, so access to your own transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
As Head Receptionist, you'll support the smooth running of the front desk and guest experience:
Deliver a warm, professional welcome and ensure outstanding guest service
Handle enquiries, requests and complaints efficiently and to a high standard
Train, motivate and develop the reception team
Assist with rota planning, task allocation and team performance
Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
Ensure all front office procedures and standards are followed
What we're looking for:
To succeed as Head Receptionist, you'll bring the following:
Previous experience as a Head Receptionist or Reception Supervisor
A positive, solutions-focused approach to challenges
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
A flexible, hands-on attitude in a busy hotel environment
A genuine passion for delivering excellent guest service
Ability to work a mixture of early and late shifts (40 hours per week)
This opportunity is also Commutable from Winchester and Reading, making it ideal for candidates based in surrounding areas looking for their next move in Basingstoke.
