Job Description

Our client, a leading company in the data centre sector, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Helsinki. This permanent, on-site role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage and implement health and safety protocols in cutting-edge data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee project compliance with the company's Safety Management System
Develop construction stage plans
Carry out health and safety reporting and analysis of various metrics
Keep senior management informed of health and safety department progress
Ensure compliance with relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions and legislation
Oversee and support the development of method statements, risk assessments, and health and safety permits to work
Conduct regular site audits and inspections, document results and follow up on required corrective actions
Maintain records of statutory inspections and ensure documentation is available

Job Requirements:

Experience in health and safety management within the data centre construction sector
Relevant degree qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety
Understanding of current environmental, health and safety legislation
Strong communication and computer skills, with the ability to maintain reporting databases
Ability to work on your own initiative with strong interpersonal skills
Flexibility in working patterns if required
