Health & Safety Manager - Roofing & Construction

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + annual bonus
 Location: UK-wide travel (2 days per week in Walsall office)
 Hours: 8am-4pm, early finish Fridays
 Benefits: Car or car allowance, 23 days holiday + BH, pension (3/5)

Join a Leading Nationwide Roofing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to support our nationwide roofing operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business within a long-term, stable environment, offering extensive industry training and genuine career progression.

You'll be an integral part of our Health & Safety team, spending most of your time on site across the UK, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Health & Safety compliance across multiple roofing sites nationwide

Conduct site audits, inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks

Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programmes

Liaise with clients, operatives, and internal teams to maintain safe working environments

Report, investigate, and document incidents, ensuring corrective actions are carried out

Attend Friday morning management meetings on site

Work at height as required - confidence with ladders is essential

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

NEBOSH qualification (minimum requirement)

Full UK driving licence

Right to work in the UK

Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills

Experience within Roofing, Construction, or similar sectors preferred
