Health & Safety Advisor | £26,500 - £30,000 + 24 days holiday + bank holidays

Sandbach, Cheshire

Our client support hundreds of clients across retail, corporate, agriculture, aviation, manufacturing, and engineering. Their team of experienced Health & Safety Consultants provide risk assessments, audits, training, and tailored safety management systems to help clients build and maintain a safe working environment. A key part of their service offering is an on-demand telephone support service, providing clients with access to Health & Safety advice whenever they need it.

The role

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. You’ll act as the first point of contact for client queries, offering practical advice by telephone and email. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assessing client needs, and providing tailored recommendations, helping customers manage workplace risks effectively. You’ll also support clients with documentation, policy reviews, and risk assessments while maintaining accurate records of all interactions.

  * Provide health and safety advice via telephone and email

  * Support clients to understand and implement Health & Safety requirements

  * Review and advise on risk assessments, safety policies, and procedures

  * Keep up to date with changes in H&S law and best practice

  * Escalate complex or high-risk queries to H&S Consultants when necessary

  * Maintain high standards of customer service and professional integrity

About you

  * NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)

  * Good understanding of health and safety legislation

  * Confident working independently and managing multiple client queries

  * Organised and professional with strong IT skills

  * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This is a full-time permanent role, working 40 hours Monday to Friday, and is available to start as soon as possible upon appointment. Salary offered will be dependent on experience. You will be entitled 24 days holiday + bank holidays + pension. You will be based at the Sandbach office.
