Job Description

We are seeking the services of experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to operate out of a number of locations in Luton and Dunstable areas.

The Role

Night shift trunking start time 19:00pm (Class1)

Requirements:

Immediate availability

Good communications and a willingness to work with others

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

You must be reasonably fit, reliable and flexible

Full UK licence with entitlement to drive HGV 1 vehicle

Valid CPC or DQR Card

No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements or convictions.

Salary:£20 per hour for class1

Location: Dunstable.

Hours & Shifts (minimum 8 to 12 hours per shift)

Responsibilities

Operate HGV 1 vehicles for trunking duties during night shifts, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues.
Provide excellent customer service during drop-offs, ensuring customer satisfaction
