Job Description

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Multi-drop Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

*Please note that candidates will be required to attend a 2-day induction*

Hours: Monday to Friday with Saturdays as and when required, start times between 04:00am - 06:00am

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour PAYE

Location: Warrington, WA5

Job Type: Temp to perm

The role:

·Multi-drop deliveries (food industry) and delivering to a wide range of customers on pre-planned routes

. Picking products/orders on the rear of the vehicle as part of the delivery process

.Deliveries will include carrying stock into kitchens/ customer premises

· Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves handball, sack truck, roll cage and pallet truck usage.

· Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism when interacting with customers and dealing with any issues as they arise

. Ensuring paperwork and invoices are correctly processed.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

· Have at least 6 months of experience driving the relevant vehicle.

. Have multi-drop experience, in the food industry would be beneficial

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

· Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work.

· Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

· Physical fitness and capability to handle manual handling.
