Job Description

Class 1 driver

Moving trailers from 1 warehouse to another, roughly about 400 metres apart.

In a tractor unit and not a tug. The Client currently has 6 units and 22 trailers on site.

Rotating shifts every 2 weeks

Will start on shift 1 - 16:30 – 02:30 shift.

Then rotate on to shift 2 - 15:00 – 23:30/00:30 shift

Above shifts are Monday to Thursday and then Fridays are:

Shift 1 16:30 – 00:00

Shift 2 12:00 – 18:00

Ltd pay rates:

  * Monday to Thursday £190

  * Friday £170

  * Saturday and Sunday £190

Driver requirements:

  * Held Class 1 licence for 2 years minimum

  * No more than 6 points

  * Preferable over 25+ for insurance

  * Experience with similar shunting work preferable, but not essential

1 day induction and training.

Team leader on site who the drivers report to.
