Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Rochdale
Start date: ASAP / After Easter
Contract: Full-time, long-term

TimePlan Education is working with a welcoming secondary school seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting learning, delivering small-group interventions and helping students make strong progress.

As an HLTA, you will:

Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups and occasionally whole classes.
Support teachers with planning, preparation and assessment.
Provide targeted intervention support to pupils who need additional help.
Promote positive behaviour, engagement and confidence in the classroom.The ideal candidate will:

Hold HLTA status or have strong equivalent classroom support experience.
Have experience working in a secondary school or similar setting.
Be adaptable, proactive and confident supporting pupils with a range of needs.
