Position: Patient Movement Porter Type: Full Time Hours: Working 5 out of 7 days between 9 AM - 5pm and 11 - 7 PM, including weekends Location: On-site (No parking available) Key Responsibilities: Provide efficient portering services with a focus on patient care. Escort patients to and from departments and wards, ensuring a safe and respectful experience. Manage the movement of essential items like medical records, equipment, and mail. Assist nursing staff in transferring patients to the mortuary with dignity and care. Adhere to data protection guidelines while handling sensitive information. What We're Looking For: Communication Skills: You must be able to engage empathetically with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Flexibility: This role requires adaptability in both working hours and tasks. Physical Fitness: Expect lots of walking-be prepared to stay active throughout your shifts! Self-Management: You should be able to prioritise tasks effectively and work independently. Empathy and Customer Care Training: A background in customer care will help you excel in this role.
