Job Title: HR Advisor
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000
Location: North Yorkshire (commutable from Leeds, Selby, and surrounding areas)
Working Structure: Office based – occasional site travel
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various human resources processes. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Working hours: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Maintain and update HR systems to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
Manage employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Support the administration of employee benefits and payroll processes.
Contribute to the development of HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organisational culture.
Collaborate with management to identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
Support with employee engagement activities, including wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and cultural initiatives.
Assist the HR team with administrative tasks and projects.
Support managers during investigations, disciplinaries, and welfare meetings.
Provide effective absence management in conjunction with occupational health.
Conduct exit interviews and assist with offboarding processes.
Experience & Skills
Proven experience in a human resources role, preferably as an HR Advisor or similar.
Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across all levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism.
Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice is advantageous.
