We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a temporary position within the industrial/manufacturing sector in Newark. This role requires a professional who can support the organisation's human resources operations effectively and efficiently.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established organisation within the industrial/manufacturing industry. They are a medium-sized company known for their commitment to quality and operational excellence. They are now seeking an interim HR Advisor to join them on a temporary basis for around 3-4 months on their site in Newark.
Description
Provide generalist HR support across various functions within the organisation.
Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with company policies and employment law.
Manage and resolve disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases.
Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
Support with employee relations, including handling queries and resolving conflicts.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
Coordinate training and development activities as required.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and practices.
Support payroll processes and ensure all employee data is up to date.Profile
A successful HR Advisor should have:
Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a multi-site or operational environment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
Track record of delivering HR projects and initiatives.
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer-focused approach and ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
Highly organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure.
Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
Ability to act as a true business partner, supporting managers and staff to achieve business needs.
Job Offer
Competitive annual salary of £36000 - £40000 per annum, depending on experience.
