HR Advisor - Temporary

Location: Birmingham
 Salary: £40,000 per annum
 Duration: 1 month
 Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a Birmingham-based organisation on an initial 1-month temporary assignment, starting as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity for an immediately available HR professional who can quickly step into a busy environment and provide hands-on HR support from day one.

The Role

Working closely with managers and the wider HR team, you will provide practical and commercially focused HR advice across a broad range of employee relations and people matters.

Key responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
Supporting with employee relations matters including absence, performance, conduct and grievances
Advising managers on HR policies and procedures
Supporting with investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation
Working closely with the wider HR team to ensure a consistent approach
Providing generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle
Supporting with any immediate HR projects or prioritiesAbout You

We are looking for a confident and experienced HR Advisor who can hit the ground running in a temporary assignment.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience working in an HR Advisor/generalist HR role
Strong employee relations experience
The confidence to advise managers at all levels
A practical, hands-on approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to work independently and quickly build relationships
Availability to start ASAP
