We’re supporting a major UK logistics and supply chain operation to appoint a proactive, relationship-driven HR Advisor who wants more than just an advisory role, someone who wants to help build a stronger, smarter, more people-focused future.

You’ll be visible, trusted and hands-on, working across several business units and supporting around 700 people who keep the operation running safely and efficiently every single day.

Your Role in the Story
You’ll become a key partner to managers on site, helping them lead their teams well and navigate the everyday realities of a busy, unionised workforce. You’ll support people through change, bring clarity to complex issues, and help raise the bar for what good HR support looks like.
Your week might involve:

Guiding managers through ER cases with calm confidence
*
Supporting collective bargaining activity and building strong relationships with union reps
*
Coaching leaders to build their capability and confidence
*
Working closely with HR colleagues to modernise policies and redesign processes
*
Using HR data to spot themes, shape decisions and strengthen the people agenda
*
Getting involved in projects to support the site’s growth plans and improve the colleague experience

What You Bring
You’ll already have solid experience in an HR Advisor/Officer role, ideally in an operational, logistics or industrial setting. You’ll be comfortable managing complex ER and capable of working constructively within a unionised environment.
