Looking for an HR leadership role where you can influence, improve and genuinely make your mark?
We're recruiting an experienced HR Manager to join a growing, multi-site financial services organisation employing more than 500 people across five locations.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll lead and develop an established HR team of 5, including HR Business Partners and HR Administration. You'll work closely with senior leaders to turn the people strategy into meaningful action, helping the business strengthen its culture, develop its leaders and support continued growth.
This is a broad and visible position for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on leadership. You'll have the opportunity to shape how the HR function operates, improve the employee experience and influence important commercial decisions.

The role
You'll lead a responsive, commercially focused HR function that delivers a consistent and high-quality service across the Group.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching and developing the HR team, creating a collaborative and high-performing function.
Partnering with the Head of HR and senior leaders to develop and deliver the people strategy.
Providing trusted advice on complex people matters and commercial decisions.
Leading organisational change, restructures, consultations and transformation programmes.
Managing complex employee relations matters and minimising employment-related risk.
Developing leadership capability through coaching, guidance and practical support.
Leading workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and organisational development.
Driving employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and retention initiatives.
Supporting the development of reward and remuneration, including benchmarking, pay reviews and benefits.
Developing HR policies, procedures and people initiatives that support business objectives.
Using HR systems, workforce data and management information to identify trends and improve decision-making.
Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employer brand and the employee value proposition.
Leading HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Overseeing the Group's Health & Safety framework and supporting managers with their responsibilities across all locations.
Deputising for the Head of HR and representing HR at leadership meetings when required.
About you
You may already be working as an HR Manager, or you could be an accomplished Senior HR Business Partner ready to take on broader team leadership and functional responsibility.
You'll need:
Proven experience in a senior generalist HR position.
Previous experience managing, coaching and developing an HR team.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Experience managing complex employee relations matters.
A track record of supporting organisational change, restructures and consultation.
Confidence partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience across talent, workforce planning, employee engagement and organisational development.
An understanding of reward, salary benchmarking, pay reviews and benefits.
Experience overseeing recruitment and talent acquisition activity.
Confidence using HR systems and people data to support decisions.
A practical understanding of workplace Health & Safety responsibilities and compliance - Essential
CIPD Level 5 as a minimum
Most importantly, you'll be a credible and approachable HR leader who can balance commercial priorities with the needs of employees. You'll be comfortable challenging constructively, introducing new ideas and taking ownership of delivery.
