Harper Recruitment Group is working with a highly respected and well-established organisation in Bakewell to appoint an experienced HR Officer.
The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and proactive HR service across the organisation, working closely with senior leaders, effectively managing a diverse and fast-paced workload, and demonstrating strong motivation to achieve results.
What will the role involve?
Provide generalist HR advice across the organisation, including ER, absence, performance, recruitment, and wellbeing.
Manage and lead HR casework, including investigations, grievances and disciplinaries.
Support workforce planning, restructures, redundancies and TUPE processes.
Oversee recruitment and selection, ensuring compliance and a positive candidate experience.
Manage pre-employment checks and maintain the database
Mentor and support the HR Assistant with HR administration and processes.
Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Support HR training and coaching for leaders and department teams.
Provide HR data, KPIs and management information for reporting.
Ensure HR processes align with employment legislation and sector requirements.
Promote staff wellbeing and act as a Mental Health First Aider.
Who Are We Looking For?
A relevant degree or CIPD qualification (or working towards one).
Proven experience in a HR Advisor role.
Strong experience engaging with individuals at all levels of management.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, effective stakeholder relationships.
