We are looking for a dynamic Health, Safety & Environment Manager to head up the function for a market leading FMCG Manufacturing business.
Reporting into the Site Director, this is an opportunity to put HSE at the heart of the business, pulling together all the HSE activity on site, working cross-functionally to engage and coach staff in best practice, support with audits and really drive and deliver the behavioural safety culture.
This will be a varied and exciting role leading a wide range of H&S initiatives. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of a wide range of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and industry standards; oversight of CDM / CAPEX, root cause analysis and reporting of incidents; and leading the continuous improvement culture across the site.
The position will suit individuals with experience in a similar FMCG Manufacturing environment, an understanding of CDM regulations, NEBOSH / IOSH certification and a proven track record of driving positive improvements in terms of HSE activities.
