A leading provider of facilities and engineering services is looking for an HVAC Engineer to join its established team supporting a secure, mission-critical environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a technically diverse estate, maintaining essential HVAC systems that support critical operations.
The Role As the HVAC Engineer, you'll:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault diagnosis across a range of HVAC systems.
Complete statutory inspections and compliance activities to ensure systems remain safe and operational.
Undertake minor installations and refurbishment works, interpreting technical drawings where required.
Maintain accurate digital maintenance records using tablet-based systems.
Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety legislation, including RAMS, COSHH and RIDDOR requirements.
Liaise with contractors, site stakeholders and colleagues to deliver high-quality engineering services.
Participate in a 1-in-11 on-call rota, responding to emergency call-outs and supporting a range of multi-skilled maintenance issues when required. You To be successful in the role of HVAC Engineer, you'll bring:
City & Guilds Air Conditioning qualification (or equivalent).
F-Gas Category 1 certification.
Safe Handling of Refrigerants qualification.
Proven experience maintaining, repairing and fault-finding on commercial HVAC systems.
Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance.
A full UK driving licence.
The ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC). Desirable:
Previous experience within secure or highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of JSP 375.
