Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About the Role

Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy bodyshop in Crewe, and they are currently looking for an experienced IMI-qualified Panel Technician to join their growing team.

This role will focus on repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork following accident damage, ensuring vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition and repaired to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Carry out high-quality panel repairs on a range of vehicles

  * 

    Assess accident damage and determine the appropriate repair method

  * 

    Repair, replace and align damaged body panels

  * 

    Carry out welding and structural repairs where required

  * 

    Use specialist bodyshop tools and equipment safely and effectively

  * 

    Ensure vehicle panels are correctly aligned and fitted

  * 

    Work closely with MET Technicians and Paint Technicians throughout the repair process

  * 

    Complete all repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards

  * 

    Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation

  * 

    Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment

Requirements

  * 

    IMI qualification in Vehicle Body Repair / Panel Technician

  * 

    Proven experience as a Panel Technician / Panel Beater / Body Repair Technician

  * 

    Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques

  * 

    Experience repairing accident-damaged vehicles

  * 

    Good understanding of vehicle structures and repair methods

  * 

    Ability to work to high standards of quality and efficiency

  * 

    Strong attention to detail

  * 

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  * 

    Full UK Driving Licence
