Interim Inclusion Lead opportunity available at a South West Local Authority on a 3-month contract at £380 per day. This role requires on-site presence for 2 days a week.
We are looking for an experienced Inclusion Lead to assist CLA learners in educational settings. Responsibilities consist of monitoring academic progress, QA of P.E.P's, promoting multi-agency collaboration for achievement, managing school transitions, key stages, and placements.
Essential requirements:
1. Qualified teacher or experience working with vulnerable children and young people in education settings
2. Strong understanding of the education system and the barriers faced by CLA
3. Support the development and quality assurance of PEPs, ensuring they are meaningful, SMART, and reflect the child’s voice.
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
5. Ability to influence and support schools to improve outcomes
6. Experience in multi-agency working and safeguarding
