TXM Recruit are proudly partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer to drive continuous improvement and innovation within a modern production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Specify processes, methods, tooling, and equipment to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and efficiency.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance cost competitiveness.
Support operational teams with the application of lean tools and techniques.
Coordinate new product introductions, ensuring smooth transition from concept to full production.
Lead product support activities, applying problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Design and oversee the creation of jigs, fixtures, and tooling to optimise production.
Develop and maintain workshop layouts and workflow to maximise efficiency.
Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety and quality standards.
Conduct method and work studies, including time-in-motion analysis, to establish standard work packages.
Manage projects to deliver excellence in safety, quality, and productivity.About You
Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a fast-paced production environment.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop manufacturing documentation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on approach with a passion for process optimisation and problem-solving.
