Internal Sales Executive

Location:               Manor Park, Runcorn (WA7)
Salary:                    £28,000 per annum, increasing upon successful completion of probation
Hours:                     Monday to Friday (Days) – Early finish every Friday
Contract:              Temporary to Permanent

About the Role

Our client is a well-established manufacturing business with a global reputation for the development and production of controls and drives for industrial, commercial and domestic applications. As a leading UK supplier of motors and control solutions across a wide range of market sectors, they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join their growing team.

Reporting to the Internal Sales Team Leader, you will be the first point of contact for customers, managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation, order processing and after-sales support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying sales opportunities and delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties of an Internal Sales Executive 

Researching potential customers, generating new business leads and making outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers.
Following up enquiries promptly via telephone and email.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business.
Promoting and upselling the company's full range of products and services wherever possible.
Providing customers with product information, explaining features and benefits.
Preparing and issuing quotations while negotiating pricing and sales terms 
Maintaining accurate customer records using the company's internal systems.
Following up outstanding quotations and identifying opportunities to secure additional business.
Working closely with Technical Support, Despatch and Marketing teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
Responding promptly to customer enquiries regarding pricing, stock availability and lead times.
Delivering a high standard of customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction remains at the heart of every interaction.

Requirements of an Internal Sales Executive:

Previous experience in an internal sales, sales support or customer service role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
Strong sales, negotiation and influencing skills with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
A customer-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Good research skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities using online resources.
Experience using CRM systems and business software such as Sage is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
