IT Manager

Are you an experienced IT professional looking to take ownership of systems infrastructure and drive efficiency across a growing manufacturing business?

Isca Recruitment is seeking an IT Manager to take ownership and enhance the IT environment to meet current and future business needs. Reporting to the General Manager and working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for a wide range of IT systems responsibilities.

IT Manager Duties:

  * Maintaining and developing IT systems infrastructure to support business objectives.

  * Improving data handling capabilities (CRM, ERP, etc.) for optimal efficiency.

  * Managing relationships with multiple external IT software providers.

  * Collaborating with departmental managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

  * Overseeing system integration where practical.

  * Delivering effective reporting tools from multiple systems.

  * Planning and implementing key IT projects, providing regular progress updates.

  * Ensuring successful rollout of new systems and training for staff.

  * Developing disaster recovery plans and maintain data backups.

  * Key involvement in ensuring cyber security across the business.

IT Manager – The Rewards:

Hours: 37 hrs per week, Mon – Fri
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000pa depending on experience plus great benefits including 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
Location: In office, Bridgwater

IT Manager – The Person:

  * Strong understanding of IT systems with the ability to recommend improvements.

  * Experience with SQL databases and managing large datasets.

  * Knowledge of MRP systems.

  * Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.

  * Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

  * Confident communicator and team player, able to build rapport with colleagues across the business.

Desirable:

  * Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  * Familiarity with Cyber Essentials accreditation.

  * Exposure to systems such as Sage 200, DriveWorks, HubSpot, or ExpenseMe.
