Job Description

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver a key systems integration programme across our group on a 9‑month fixed term contract. The role will focus on coordinating and managing the integration of multiple IT systems, ensuring seamless data transfer, API connectivity, and operational alignment across platforms.
The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third‑party vendors to deliver robust integration solutions. Experience with enterprise system integrations and familiarity with Tesseract (or similar platforms) and Sage 200 is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
  * Lead the planning, design, delivery and governance of the IT system integration project across the organisation spanning procurement, operations and Finance.
  * Coordinate integration activities between multiple platforms, including data transfers, API connections, and middleware solutions to achieve a fully integrated cloud-based solution.
  * Work with technical teams to define integration architecture, data flows, and system dependencies.
  * Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical project plans.
  * Coordinate with external vendors and software providers, including those supporting the Tesseract system.
  * Oversee data migration and data mapping activities between legacy and new systems.
  * Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
  * Recognise and collaborate with stakeholders across functional areas re. associated impacts of IT integration.
  * Ensure appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of integrations and system changes.
  * Facilitate project reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  * Support change management and user adoption for newly integrated systems.
Skills & Experience
Essential
  * Proven experience delivering IT systems integration projects in complex organisational environments.
  * Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, data migration, and data mapping.
  * Experience managing end‑to‑end IT projects, including planning, delivery, and stakeholder management.
  * Ability to coordinate technical teams including developers, architects, and infrastructure specialists.
  * Strong project governance skills including risk management, reporting, and documentation.
  * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
  * Experience working with the Sage 200, Tesseract system or similar enterprise platforms; applications such as timesheet apps.
  * Experience in group or multi‑entity environments where systems need to be aligned across organisations
