Project Manager

Bracknell, Berkshire | Hybrid (3-4 days per week in the office)

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing delivery team based in Bracknell.

This is an opportunity to manage the successful delivery of multiple customer projects, working closely with technical teams, customers and internal stakeholders. You'll take ownership from project initiation through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This role would suit someone who enjoys taking responsibility, building strong customer relationships and driving projects forward in a fast-paced technology environment.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  * Managing projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation to successful delivery.

  * Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.

  * Producing and maintaining clear project documentation, plans and reporting.

  * Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and change control.

  * Coordinating cross-functional and virtual project teams to achieve key milestones.

  * Working closely with customers, acting as their primary point of contact throughout project delivery.

  * Building trusted customer relationships through regular communication and effective stakeholder management.

  * Developing project test plans aligned with customer requirements.

  * Supporting pre-sales activities by contributing to bids, tenders and customer presentations.

  * Managing project budgets, forecasts, billing plans and financial performance throughout delivery.

  * Ensuring internal systems accurately reflect project status and progress.

  * Leading project reviews and identifying opportunities to improve processes, delivery and customer outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  * A Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent commercial experience.

  * Previous experience delivering technology projects within software, cloud or related technical environments.

  * A proven track record of managing projects from initiation through to successful delivery.

  * Experience working alongside software development teams and an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  * Exposure to cloud technologies and modern software delivery practices would be advantageous.

  * Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, forecasts and financial performance.

  * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage customers at all levels.

  * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  * A proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to make informed decisions and keep projects moving forward.

  * The ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
