IT SUPPORT 

Barnsley | £40,000 - £45,000 | Full‑time, Permanent Manufacturing Company 

Are you an experienced IT professional ready to take ownership of systems, drive improvements, and play a key role in a growing manufacturing nationwide business? This company requires a senior level IT System Administrator with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to join an established IT team of four and support continued transformation.

This is a hands‑on, varied role where you'll work across operational support, infrastructure, systems configuration and exciting new project initiatives. If you enjoy problem‑solving, improving systems, and making a real impact, you'll feel right at home at this company.

37.5 hours per week: 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday Office based Role (no Hybrid working)The Duties

Manage and resolve tickets via our internal helpdesk
Support users and systems across a busy production environment
Maintain PCs, peripherals, bar code scanners and display screens
Maintain and support server and network systems
Work closely with our MSP at 2nd/3rd line level
Play a key role in defining and implementing new systems and services
Support delivery of planned IT projects and improvements
Configure, administer and maintain our bespoke MRP and manufacturing softwareThe ideal candidate will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support knowledge , ideally within an MSP‑aligned environment and ideally previously supported MRP systems in a manufacturing setting

The candidate will need to hold a Full UK driving licence as there will be regular travel to other sites as required.
