Job Description

Junior CAD Engineer

Location: Local to Shrewsbury area

Orion are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Junior CAD Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior CAD Engineer to be able to grow and develop their design career.

Junior CAD Engineer Responsibilities:

Take concept design and make modifications to spec using Solidworks
Assist in the creation of instruction manuals & technical documentation
Read and work from engineering drawings
Support cross departmental team with design modifications
Maintain ERP Systems 

Junior CAD Engineer Qualifications & Experience:

HNC/HND  or degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Must have experience using SolidWorks
Ability to read and work from engineering drawing.
Strong communication skills and team player mentality
Motivated to progress career in design
Understanding/previous experience with ERP system. 

Junior CAD Engineer Shifts: Monday – Friday core office hours with early finish on a Friday
