Junior Contracts Administration Consultant
Summary
We are seeking a Junior Contracts Administration Consultant to join our client team in Dublin. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in transport infrastructure projects who enjoys working on detailed contract and compliance activities. You’ll gain exposure to high-profile public-private partnerships and contribute to the effective management of operational and maintenance contracts.
Salary
€27 per hour
Location and Working Pattern
Dublin, Ireland. 2 to 3 days on-site each week, driven by client requirements and subject to change. Standard working hours are 37.5 per week.
Client Overview
Our client operates within the transport infrastructure sector, delivering essential services that ensure safe and efficient national road networks. They work closely with multiple stakeholders and require competent professionals to maintain high standards across complex contracts.
Responsibilities
Conduct contract management and administration, performance monitoring, and operational supervision.
Prepare draft responses for formal correspondence regarding contracts.
Carry out audits, site inspections, compliance checks, and monitoring of operations, maintenance, and asset management processes.
Support the preparation and administration of Task Orders, Compensation Events, and variation notices for OMTTCC2G or PPP concessions.
Assist in evaluating contractor submissions, including Task Orders and Compensation Events.
Review PPP Design and Design Check Certificates for compliance and adequacy.
Contribute to reporting and analysis of traffic data and patterns.
Support technical advice provision and monitor compliance with Tunnel Safety Directive obligations.
Attend and review OMTTCC2G and PPP emergency exercises.
Must-have Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience in transport infrastructural projects.
At least 3 years overseeing and monitoring operations and maintenance activities.
Level 8 qualification (or equivalent) in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical/electronic engineering.
A valid driving licence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with NEC4 and PPP contract administration.
Familiarity with multidisciplinary team environments and client liaison.
