Overview
Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NG18 area to recruit a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed educator to join a thriving school and play a key role in supporting pupils during an important stage of their educational development.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons that inspire and motivate young learners
• Create a positive, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, implementing interventions where necessary
• Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, and social skills
• Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil outcomes
• Attend staff meetings, CPD sessions, and parents' evenings as required
The Ideal Candidate
• Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience within a UK primary school setting
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has a strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and effective teaching practices
• Is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to teaching and learning
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Is committed to raising attainment and promoting pupil wellbeing
