About the Role:
In this role, you will be covering day-to-day teaching assignments across various year groups within Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6). As a day-to-day teacher, your adaptability, enthusiasm, and ability to quickly build rapport with students will be key to ensuring continued high-quality learning during teacher absences.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 and a strong passion for helping children succeed. You should be committed to maintaining a high standard of teaching and be able to adapt to different year groups and school environments. Whether you're an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT/ECT), we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre planned lessons and promote engagement with learning and tasks
- Ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching
- Support students' social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and student outcomes
What You Will Need:
- UK QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a school setting (ideally within Key Stage 2)
- An updated DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team
- A proactive and flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt to different schools and environments
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
