Job Description

Our client, a prominent business in marine manufacturing is looking for a Labourer/Driver to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in a busy fabrication shop with a variety of labouring duties
Driving duties as required, ensuring materials and equipment are transported safely and efficiently
Handling and working with steel as per the project's requirements
Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks

Job Requirements:

Experience in labouring, preferably in a marine or steel fabrication environment
Fork lift experience (current FL licence ideal, but possibility of being put through the course)
Full UK driving licence
Previous experience working with steel
Strong work ethic and ability to work extended hours, including overtime
Good physical stamina and capability to handle manual tasks
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Other info:

£16.50/h Umb co standard 40 hours
£24.75/h Umb co after 40 hours 
CIS available
