Job Title: Labourer (Site Support)
Location: Various Client Sites (Regular Working Away Required)
Pay Rate: £14 per hour
Expenses: Paid when working away
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to support welders and construction teams on-site at various client locations. This role involves assisting with the preparation, movement, and installation of materials and equipment, ensuring smooth operations on-site. The position requires flexibility for regular working away and a proactive approach to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Site Support:
Assist welders and construction workers with day-to-day tasks.
Prepare work areas and ensure tools and materials are ready for use.
Move and position heavy materials safely using lifting equipment.
Equipment Handling:
Operate scissor lifts and forklifts (licences required).
Load and unload vehicles and equipment.
General Duties:
Maintain a clean and safe working environment on-site.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Assist with basic assembly and installation tasks as directed.
Requirements
Previous experience in a labouring or site support role (construction or manufacturing preferred).
Ability to work away from home regularly.
Good physical fitness and willingness to work in varied environments.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.Essential:
Valid Scissor Lift licence.
