Lead Maintenance Engineer
 Bolton
 £48,000 + £6,250 shift premium
 Permanent

 TXM Recruit are partnering with a leading, Global Intralogistics business who specialise in the design, development and maintenance of highly automated systems as they search for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This role will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of distribution automated systems.

 Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Weekly rotation; 06:00- 14:00 / 14:00-22:00

 Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out preventative and reactive Maintenance tasks across the site, as well as contributing to continuous improvement tasks.
Performing Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyance systems and sortation equipment.
Mechanical maintenance tasks such as the strip-down and re-assembly of equipment, replacement of components and re-lacing of belts for example.
Electrically, you will be responsible for electrical testing using a multi-meter, interpreting electrical diagrams & symbols to support identification of faults and work up to 480v.
Reporting Job details, breakdown information and follow up tasks in a CMMS system.
Budget understanding.
Direct relationship management the customer.
Appreciation of control systems (WCS, WMS, SCADA)
Appreciation of industrial field bus systems (e.g. ASi, Profibus)Skills and Qualifications Required:

Qualification at NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a fast paced, high volume facility – automated warehousing, manufacturing, FMCG and packaging facilities would prove a good transfer.
Knowledge of PLC systems and their functionality.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is an advantage.
Experience using CMMS systems and managing engineering inventory.Benefits:
