Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Hillingdon
 Full-time | Long-term | Start January 2026 | PAYE

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Hillingdon. This is a full-time, long-term position, supporting pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2 from January 2026.

About the School:
 This well-regarded primary school has two or three classes per year group, a supportive leadership team and a strong focus on inclusion and pupil progress. The school has modern classrooms, extensive outdoor space, and on-site parking, and is easily accessible via public transport. Staff enjoy a friendly, collaborative environment and the opportunity to make a real impact on pupils' learning.

Role Responsibilities:

Supporting individual pupils or small groups in their learning.

Assisting teachers with the planning and delivery of lessons.

Helping pupils with special educational needs or English as an additional language (EAL).

Implementing behaviour strategies to support a positive learning environment.

Supervising pupils during activities, including break and lunch times if needed.

Contributing to pupil assessment records and monitoring progress.

Supporting school routines and events as required.

Requirements:

Experience working in a UK primary school or similar educational setting.

Strong understanding of classroom management and child development.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.

Level 2 or 3 qualification in supporting learning or equivalent experience preferred.
