Learning Support Assistant | Waltham Forest | £82.14-£100 per day | ASAP Start

Reeson Education is recruiting a confident and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about helping pupils with additional needs and supporting learning across the school.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and social-emotional needs. The school is friendly, inclusive, and offers outstanding support to staff.

Role Details for the Learning Support Assistant:

Daily Rate: £82.14-£100 (PAYE)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Walthamstow, Leyton, Chingford

Contract: Full-time, term time only

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require additional help

Assist teachers with differentiated learning tasks and classroom routines

Support pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills

Help create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support teams

Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:

Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or SEN support worker

Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH or speech & language needs

Calm, patient, and resilient approach when supporting pupils

Ability to follow individual support plans and adapt quickly

Strong communication and teamwork skills
