Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant (Salford)

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term opportunity in a supportive primary school?

We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Salford after the Easter break. This is a full-time, long-term role for a full calender year, offering stability and the chance to make a real impact in early education.

The Role

Supporting children within EYFS (Reception/Nursery)

Delivering small group interventions, including phonics and early literacy

Assisting the class teacher with planning, observations and assessments

Providing 1:1 support where required, including SEN pupils

Creating a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)

Has recent experience working within an EYFS setting

Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

Confident supporting phonics and early development

Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach

Holds an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
