Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our Infrastructure Managed Services Team, supporting Dematic Software’s customers across mixed on-prem and cloud environments.

You’ll work across Linux (RedHat/CentOS), VMware, AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and modern monitoring tools. The role involves project delivery, infrastructure deployments, performance monitoring, and 2nd/3rd-line support across geographically dispersed environments.

Key Responsibilities

  * Deploy, configure, and support infrastructure for new and existing customer sites

  * Manage Linux (RedHat/CentOS), virtualisation (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  * Maintain and improve monitoring using Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus

  * Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and handle customer communication

  * Apply updates, patches, and security controls

  * Collaborate with internal teams and escalate complex issues when required

  * Contribute to knowledge sharing across the team

Skills & Experience

Essential

  * Strong Linux Administration (RedHat/CentOS)

  * Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible

  * Cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  * VMware administration

  * Good networking fundamentals (Firewalls, Switches)

  * Fluent English + strong communication skills

  * Valid driving licence + willingness to travel

Nice to Have

  * Windows Server knowledge

  * ITIL awareness/certification

  * 3+ years in Systems Admin / DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering roles
