Job Description

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a full-time permanent Logistics Manager to join a well-established food production company based in Bellshill. 

Salary - £35,000 + depending on experience 

Shifts - Monday - Friday 7am - 3.3pm

The Role

You'll manage the end‑to‑end despatch function, ensuring products are delivered on time, in full, and fully compliant with food safety and quality standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the despatch team and daily operations
Oversee order picking, loading, and transport scheduling
Manage hauliers and customer delivery systems
Maintain accurate stock control and traceability
Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards
Drive OTIF performance and continuous improvementSkills & Experience

Essential:

Experience in logistics/despatch or warehouse management
FMCG or food environment experience preferred
Strong stock control and WMS experience
Proven people management skills
Good IT skills, including ExcelDesirable:

FLT licence
Knowledge of BRC and HACCP
