Job Description

Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Secondary School

SE7 September start 

Full time - LONG TERM 

Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? We're looking for a caring, committed Special Needs Teaching Assistant to a vibrant SEND secondary school. You'll work closely with students who have a range of additional needs, helping them grow in confidence, independence, and achievement.

What you'll be doing

Supporting students with SEND in and out of class
Working 1:1 and in small groups
Helping create an inclusive, positive learning environment
Collaborating with teachers, SENCO and pastoral staffWhat we're looking for

Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to make a difference
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience with SEND (desirable but not essential)
A proactive, flexible approach
Must have Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
