Multi-Skilled Electromechanical Engineer (Days)
An industry-leading manufacturing company based in Bicester is seeking a Multi-Skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join their engineering team. This role focuses on fault diagnosis, repair, servicing, and continuous improvement across a broad range of production machinery and site facilities.
Role Details
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days only, 07:00 - 19:00)
Salary: £57,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and fault diagnosis on various production-related equipment.
Execute both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks independently across multi-manufacturer machinery.
Work on variable speed drives, PCBs, and assist with remote modem diagnostic support from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Drive continuous improvement projects and manufacturing efficiency tasks alongside routine site facility maintenance.
Utilize workshop equipment, including operating a manual lathe for mechanical repairs.
Key Requirements
Qualifications: Recognised industrial electrical qualification (18th Edition IEE preferred).
Experience: Proven track record as an Industrial Electrical or Electromechanical Shift Engineer (manufacturing or printing environment experience is a plus).
Technical Skills: Strong capabilities in electrical troubleshooting, PCB/drive diagnostics, and basic mechanical machining (lathe operation).
Soft Skills: Highly self-motivated, proactive, capable of working independently, and possesses strong communication and teamwork abilities.
