Salary: £53,000 + Pension + Overtime

Location: Tamworth

Days Based – Panama days and nights.

My client is a world leader in the development of specialist high performance specialist packaging solutions and is extremely well established, with over 45 years of experience. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the electrical knowledge already within their current team. The group supplies products into a wide range of industries with a reputation for product quality and reliability.

Key Skills

  * Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering

  * Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery

  * Understanding of PPM systems

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with multi-skilled knowledge and have PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on PLC systems, drives and invertors.

On a day to day basis you will work on flow wrappers, cartoners, metal detectors, pumps, and other process machinery. There is a huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
