Maintenance Fitter

Pathhead, nr Edinburgh, commutable from: Edinburgh, Dalkeith, Bonyrigg, Penicuik, Haddington, Livingston, Broxburn, Blackford, Dunbar & all surrounding areas

£40,000 - £43,000 + Overtime + Training + Pension + Career Progression

Are you a fully qualified Maintenance Fitter with experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing or agricultural engineering, looking to develop your career within a growing and forward-thinking organisation?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and expanding business operating at the forefront of sustainable manufacturing and renewable materials. You'll play a key role in maintaining high-performing production facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting efficient, continuous operations within a fast-paced environment.

The organisation is a major player across the UK and Ireland in timber processing and engineered wood products, supplying critical materials to the construction and housing sectors while also investing heavily in renewable energy and green technologies.

This position would suit somebody from a manufacturing/industrial/agricultural engineering background looking for a shift-based position with plenty of overtime earning potential.

The Role

Respond to plant breakdowns to minimise downtime and maximise production output
Diagnose faults, repair, and overhaul mechanical plant and equipment
3-shift (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am) 

The Person

Mechanical Engineer from a plant/manufacturing/agricultural/industrial background
