Maintenance Storeman
Location: JLR Solihull - Body in White
Contract Length: 9 months
Shift: Days only
Pay Rate: £32.05 per hour (Umbrella PAYE) 50k Salary equivalent

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Storeman to support the Maintenance team at an Automotive Supplier in Solihull. This role focuses on managing maintenance spare parts, tooling, and engineering assets to ensure smooth operation of the BIW maintenance function.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and control maintenance spare parts, tooling, and engineering consumables.
Maintain accurate stock levels, issue parts, and support asset tracking.
Work closely with Maintenance Engineering to ensure parts availability.
Support the setup, organisation, and continuous improvement of the BIW stores function.
Ensure compliance with site processes, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in running stores for maintenance environments. 
Background in maintenance spare parts, engineering assets, or similar technical stores roles.
Ideally experience within automotive, manufacturing, or BIW environments.
NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field
FLT licence beneficial but not confirmed as mandatory
