Job Description

Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a PE backed business in North Manchester, to appoint an ACCA/CIMA part qualified or QBE Management Accountant. The business is on a journey of growth, so it’s an exciting time to join!

 Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead on the production of the monthly management accounts across the group, covering both UK and overseas entities. This role will give you exposure to group reporting, financial analysis and will be a key support commercial decision making.

 Key Responsibilities 

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for UK and other entities.
Support group reporting, including statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit processes.
Deliver financial analysis on performance metrics and assist with market analysis, identifying risks and trends.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow projections across the Group.
Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
Utilise Power BI dashboards and financial reporting tools to improve management information.
Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and commercial support.
Support financial due diligence, ad hoc analysis and strategic projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience

Part/nearly qualified CIMA or ACCA with or AAT qualified with 5+ years’ experience in a Management Accounts role – ideally in a group setting.
Advanced Excel, strong Microsoft 365 skills and experience using Power BI would be beneficial.
Analytically minded with strong attention to detail.
Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Collaborative team player but with the ability to work independently.
