Job Description
Manual Horizontal Borer setter/operator/programmer – Days or Nights
* £15-£23.40 per hour Depending upon experience and Shift worked
* Days – Mon-Thursday 8am-4.30pm Friday 8am-1pm
* Nights – Mon – Thurs 6pm-6am (4 x 12-hour shifts) paid at time +1/3

We need the candidate to have a strong mechanical knowledge. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating components and ensuring they meet the required specifications
The Job
* Setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines or have a milling background.
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication
* Self-inspect work
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality
About you
* Candidate must have proven experience of setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines or have a milling background.
* Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
* Have the ability to self-inspect.
* Be willing to work overtime when needed.

An established successful manufacturer based near Rochdale
* Hourly rate of £15-£23.40 per hour depending upon experience and shift worked
* Days – Mon-Thursday 8am-4.30pm Friday 8am-1pm
* Nights – Mon – Thurs 6pm-6am (4 x 12 hour shifts) paid at time +1/3
