Job Description

CNC Hartford Horizontal Borer Setter, Operator, Programmer – Nights

  * £18-£23.40 per hour Depending upon experience

  * Nights – Mon – Thurs 6pm-6am (4 x 12-hour shifts) paid at time +1/3

We need the candidate to have a strong mechanical knowledge. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating components and ensuring they meet the required specifications

The Job

  * Setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam or Fusion software for programming.)

  * Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication

  * Self-inspect work

  * Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations

  * Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality

About you

  * Must have proven experience of setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam or Fusion software for programming.)

  * Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.

  * Have the ability to self-inspect.

  * Be willing to work overtime when needed.

  * Hourly rate of £18-£23.40 per hour depending upon experience
