A great opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established engineering business based in Maidstone, Kent.

This role would suit someone with a traditional engineering background — ideally having come up through an apprenticeship — who is looking to move into a position focused on driving manufacturing improvements across the business.

About the Role

As Manufacturing Engineer, you'll get hands-on with the manufacturing process, identifying and implementing improvements that boost efficiency, quality, and productivity across the site. This is a practical, floor-based role for someone who understands manufacturing processes first-hand and wants to use that knowledge to make things better.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates with:

  * A traditional engineering background, ideally gained through an apprenticeship

  * Hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment, such as machining, fabrication, sheet metal, pressings, or tool making

  * A genuine interest in manufacturing improvement and process development

  * A practical, problem-solving approach and the confidence to work directly on the shop floor
