Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our client’s team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to marketing strategies that directly impact business visibility and engagement. The role is ideal for someone with experience in engineering, manufacturing, or other technical sectors, who enjoys a hands-on approach to content creation, campaign coordination, and performance analysis across the business and wider group of companies.
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will support the Marketing Manager in delivering engaging campaigns and ensuring the smooth running of marketing initiatives. You will create and manage content across multiple platforms, help coordinate events and promotions, and analyse the performance of marketing activities to continuously improve results. This position combines creativity with analytical insight and offers the chance to work across a small group of businesses, shaping marketing output and supporting strategic growth.
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00, Friday: 07:30 – 12:50 hours 38 per week. Main base: Bolton, with occasional travel to other sites. Salary: £27,000 – £29,900 per annum
Key responsibilities
* Actively contribute to content creation, including written copy, video, and graphic materials for digital and offline channels.
* Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing campaigns to ensure they achieve business objectives.
* Maintain and update company websites and webshops, including content, stock updates, images, and formatting.
* Assist with social media management, including scheduling, engagement, and content optimisation.
* Produce reports and analyse the performance of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Carry out market research to keep up to date with trends, competitor activity, and platform developments.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure marketing activities are consistent and aligned across the business.
* Help manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail.
What we are looking for in a Marketing Coordinator
* Proven marketing experience, ideally within Engineering, Manufacturing, or other Technical sectors.
* Strong digital marketing skills, including social media management, email campaigns, and website content management.
* Proficient in copywriting with a strong command of the English language for effective communication.
* Experience creating content in multiple formats, including written copy, video, and graphics.
* Proficiency with design software and tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and photography for marketing purposes is advantageous.
* Familiarity with CMS platforms, e-commerce systems such as Shopify, and marketing tools like Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or Buffer is advantageous.
* Basic understanding of SEO and digital analytics is beneficial.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Enthusiasm for collaborating with internal teams to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.
