Social Media & Marketing Executive

Salary: £29,000 – £31,000 per annum
Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire

We are working with a growing specialist business within the commercial vehicle sector who are looking to appoint a Social Media & Marketing Executive to join their team.

This is a varied and hands-on role for a creative individual who enjoys producing content, managing social media and helping a business grow its online presence.

You’ll work closely with the wider team, particularly sales, to create engaging marketing campaigns and content that showcases the company, its products and its work. There will also be opportunities to attend vehicle handovers, exhibitions, customer visits and industry events.

The Role

  * Manage and update the company website, including product and vehicle listings

  * Create and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

  * Produce photography and video content for social media, websites and marketing materials

  * Photograph completed vehicles, new projects and customer handovers

  * Edit images and video to a professional standard

  * Develop creative marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate enquiries

  * Create promotional graphics, advertisements, brochures and other marketing materials

  * Work with external suppliers, publishers and media partners on advertising campaigns

  * Monitor social media and website performance and provide regular marketing reports

  * Support the sales team with promotional activity and customer-facing content

  * Help maintain a consistent and professional brand across all marketing channels

  * Keep up to date with social media trends, content styles and digital marketing developments

About You

We're looking for someone who is creative, organised and confident taking ownership of their work.

You should have:

  * Previous experience in social media, marketing, digital content or a similar role

  * Experience managing business social media accounts

  * Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design and editing software

  * Experience creating and editing photography and video content

  * An understanding of website content management systems

  * Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail

  * A creative approach with plenty of ideas for engaging content

  * The ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively

  * A full UK driving licence is preferred due to occasional travel and event attendance

Desirable Experience

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

Experience within the automotive, commercial vehicle, transport or engineering sectors advantageous

Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics or paid social media

Experience creating short-form video content

Graphic design and branding experience

Experience covering exhibitions, events or customer showcases
