Materials Controller (Coordinator / Stock / Administrator)

Derby

£35,000 to £37,000 DOE + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 (Some Flexibility)

Materials Controller required for a leading equipment supplier to the water industry due to ongoing growth. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business with a global reputation within a friendly team.

The role would suit candidates from any mechanical / electronic industry background. You will need experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, managing mechanical and electronic stock and ordering components.

The successful Materials Controller will work within a small engineering team responsible for overseeing the stock management of technical components, including procurement and logistics. This will include monitoring stock levels, sourcing stock from suppliers, ensuring they are fit for purpose, and updating BOMS.

The Materials Controller Role:

· Stock management of mechanical and electronic components
· Monitoring stock level and keeping accurate records
· Sourcing components from suppliers
· Raising purchase orders
· Working from electrical, electronic and mechanical drawings
· Updating BOMs

The Materials Controller Candidate:

· Experience with mechanical and electronic components
· Able to read technical drawings
· Stock management experience
· Experience using Microsoft Office
